Pink sinamay headpiece with co-ordinating pink feathers.
As with all my occasion hats, this piece has been made by hand, using traditional millinery techniques.
I hand-select the biot feathers featured in this piece, using a variety of shades of pink to create an eye-catching display. I also hand curl each feather to add an extra sense of movement.
Meanwhile I have used the free-form method to mould the sinamay into shape. This technique does not require a wooden block, but rather relies on my own creativity and skills.
I have also sewn this piece entirely by hand, except for a small amount of machine stitching to the hidden base.

How to Wear this Hat
This headpiece hugs the head and I have designed it to be worn to the right of the head.
A thin elastic is used to secure the hat in place. This elastic is thin enough to be hidden in your hair, thereby creating the illusion that the hat is magically perched on the head.
Where to Wear this Hat
I created this piece with formal spring and summer events in mind. For example, this hat would be perfect for a race day, or a wedding. The piece is made from Sinamay which is lightweight and breathable, and will keep you cool in the heat. Meanwhile, the vibrant pink shades of the hat are just right for this time of year.
I will send your piece in a white hat box, which I carefully pack with acid free tissue paper, and finish with a pink satin ribbon. Storing your hat in this tissue-filled box will keep it in tip top condition for many years to come.
Although I don’t offer gift wrap for these designs, I can add a gift message card if you are gifting from a distance.
Please do complete your message in the box above, especially if you’d like it to be delivered direct to the lucky lass. Don’t forget to say who it is a gift for…and importantly, who it is from!
Looking For Something a Little Different?
I created this Pink Sinamay Headpiece with Feathers as a one-of-a-kind piece. However, I can use the design as inspiration for a bespoke order – creating something unique, tailored to your specifications. If you would like to discuss this option, please do drop me a message, and I will get back to you.
