Teal button hat covered with sequin fabric and finished with a velvet ribbon double bow.
I designed this piece to offer some seriously grown-up sparkle! The sequins which I have chosen for this piece have a stylish matte finish, which makes them shimmer beautifully in the light.
Meanwhile, I have fully lined the inside of the hat with a contrasting pale blue silk. Finally, I have finished the inside with a turquoise petersham ribbon trim.
As with all my occasion hats, I have used traditional millinery techniques to make this teal sequin hat. I have hand-blocked and handsewn this particular piece, except for a small amount of machine stitching on the lining.

How to Wear this Hat
I have designed this hat to be worn to the right of the head. An adjustable black elastic is used to secure the hat in place. This elastic is thin enough to be hidden in your hair, thus creating the illusion that the hat is magically perched on the head.
Where to Wear this Hat
This piece is incredibly versatile. Small and chic, yet with statement sequins and a luxurious velvet bow, this teal hat would look just as good at a cocktail party, as it would if worn to an autumn wedding, or a winter race day.
Gifting Information
I will send your piece in a white hat box. I carefully pack the box with acid-free tissue paper, and finish with a pink satin ribbon. Storing your hat in this tissue-filled box will keep it in tip top condition for many years to come.
Although I don’t offer gift wrap for these designs, I can add a gift message card if you are gifting from a distance.
