Ice blue felt button hat with velvet ribbon leaves and glass pearl beads.
As with all my occasion hats, I make this elegant piece by hand, using traditional millinery techniques. For this particular hat, I have hand-blocked and almost entirely handsewn the piece, save for a small amount of machine stitching to the lining.
Meanwhile, I have used a couture millinery technique to create the intricate leave shaped decorations. Made with silver grey ribbon, these leaves are accented with glass pearl beads. In 3 complimentary tones of grey and blue, these add a touch of vintage glamour to the piece.
The hat is fully lined with a coordinating navy blue taffeta, and trimmed with a matching navy blue petersham ribbon.

How to Wear this Hat
I have designed this ice blue felt button hat with velvet leaves so that it can be worn to the left or right of the head.
The hat is secured in place with an adjustable black elastic. This elastic is thin enough to be hidden in your hair, thereby creating the illusion that the hat is magically perched on the head.
Where to Wear this Hat
This hat would look fabulous at any formal occasion; from autumn, right through spring. And would bring a bit of old-school Hollywood glamour to any event; from a race day, to a wedding day.

I will send your ice blue felt button hat with velvet leaves in a white hat box carefully packed with acid free tissue paper, and finished with a pink satin ribbon. Storing your hat in this tissue-filled box will keep it in tip top condition for many years to come.
