Handmade Millinery
The formal straw hats in this collection offer a wonderful opportunity to purchase a piece of hand-crafted UK millinery.

I have personally designed and handmade all of the hats in this section. I work from my studio in Sheffield, using traditional millinery techniques.

All the hats you see here are either hand-blocked or free-formed. They are also almost entirely hand sewn; with many pieces only featuring a single line of machine stitching to the linings.

Timeless Designs
I have designed all of my formal straw hats in classic colour palettes, which are complimented by elegant embellishments of petersham ribbon trim, flowers and beadwork.

Straw is one of my favourite materials to work with, and is incredibly versatile. Indeed, this collection is a celebration of straw in all its forms – from the close-weaved to the open-weaved, the patterned, to the elegantly plain, and from paper-based to reclaimed, vintage straw.
