Description

This navy and white crinoline knot headband is a fabulous statement hair accessory.

This navy blue based design features flashes of white crinoline that blend beautifully to create subtle highlights of colour.

With it’s contemporary shape and light-weight materials, it is the perfect hybrid design. Wear it to dress up an outfit for a night out, or as an understated hair accessory for a wedding or party.

Crinoline is made from woven nylon thread, making it a great option for outdoor wear – you don’t have to worry about getting it wet!

I make each knot by hand before hand sewing it to a coordinating satin covered metal headband.

Finally, I have wrapped the ends of the headband with velvet ribbon for maximum comfort whilst wearing.

• Ladies One Size
• Width: approximately 5mm (0.2 inch)

How to Wear

This headband is best worn to the right of the head, however you could wear it to either side.

When worn to the right, the dominant colour of the knot is navy white, however when worn to the left, the white stripes become more obvious.

The metal headband provides a secure fit, with velvet ribbon covered ends to provide comfort for the wearer.

This crinoline knot headband is incredibly versatile, and would add just the right amount of glamour to any outfit. Whether you’re attending a cocktail party, or you’re bridesmaid for your friend on her Big Day, this stylish headband is the perfect choice.

Gifting Information

I will send your navy and white crinoline knot headband in a white hat box. I will carefully pack this with acid free tissue paper, and finish it with a pink satin ribbon. Storing your headband in this tissue-filled box will keep it in tip top condition for many years to come.

Although I don’t offer gift wrap for these designs, I can add a gift message card if you are gifting from a distance.

History of Crinoline

Crinoline is based on a centuries old millinery material, “horsehair”. As the name suggests, this mesh material was woven from real hair (taken from the tail of the horse).

Made from nylon fibre, modern day crinoline is vegan friendly.

Other Options

This two tone style crinoline  knot headband is also available in other standard colour combinations: Black-Grey and Ivory-Black

You can also choose from single colour designs in: Aqua, Black, Coral Pink, Cornflower Blue, Gold, Ivory, Navy Blue, Pale Pink, Red and Turquoise.

Alternatively, I could use this design as inspiration for a custom order – creating something unique, tailored to your specifications. For example, I could use different colours to suit your outfit.
