Description

Pale yellow wool felt beret decorated with handsewn pink roses and green leaves.

This might be the prettiest beret that I have ever made. With it’s unashamedly kawaii colour palette, it is super cute!

These grosgrain ribbon roses have been in my stash for at least 12 years, possibly longer. When I used to take Imogen’s Imagination to craft and vintage fairs, these were used to make hair pins and headbands. The leaves have been made using velvet ribbons from my stash of samples – the result of trying to find the perfect colour match for other designs!

I still have lots of these roses made up, along with a stash of both grosgrain and satin ribbons. If you would like a custom order version of this design in different colours, please do get in touch.

Perfect for winter  these extra thick, 100% wool berets are super cosy. This colour would look fabulous in Spring too – perfect for an outdoor Easter Egg hunt, or even just a walk in the park to admire the crocuses and daffodils.

 

Sizing

  • Ladies one size
  • Diameter: approximately 26.5cm (10.5 inches)

These berets will comfortably fit an average head size of approximately 21-22 inches. However, they do stretch with regular wearing.

It is also possible to make the berets bigger by unfolding the inner lip of the beret. This does increase the size significantly.
